How Does A BookFlash Online Press Kit Work? It All Begins With You...

Your BookFlash Online Press Kit will begin with you completing a detailed questionnaire about your book, your book's message(s), and your plans for marketing your book, as well as information about you and your background.

We'll take all of this information, and use it to create an expertly-organized and visually appealing website, that you can use as a powerful marketing and publicity tool. With your BookFlash Online Press Kit, you'll be able to quickly and easily refer journalists, producers, editors, and other media professionals to your own branded website URL - a virtual one-stop shop where they can find targeted, media-specific content, formatted to persuade them to cover you and/or your book.

It may sound complicated, but it's easier than you think. We've briefly outlined the process for creating your BookFlash Online Press Kit below.
  1. Complete Questionnaire: Fill out the questionnaire, being as thorough and accurate as possible. If there are any areas that you are unsure about, or need more help with, you can refer to our sample online press kits by clicking here, and clicking on any of the several BookFlash Online Press Kit samples for ideas and inspiration!

  2. Proof Questionnaire: When you have completed your questionnaire to the best of your ability, we'll ask you to look at it closely for typos and errors. While we will do our best to correct any obvious typos we might come across, you are responsible for the content that appears on your online press kit.

  3. Return Questionnaire to BookFlash: When you've completed and proofed your questionnaire, you will send it to your BookFlash Editor via our instructions.

  4. Approve Your BookFlash Online Press Kit: The price of your BookFlash online press kit includes initial content upload and formatting by your BookFlash Editor, and a basic proof where we will correct any typos and formatting errors that you bring to our attention. You'll sign off on your proof, and we will activate your online press kit and point your branded vanity URL to it.

At that point, your online press kit will be online and ready for action!

Editing and Updating Your BookFlash Online Press Kit

Once your online press kit has been uploaded, we will provide you with a login and password, allowing you access to the web-based BookFlash Press Kit Manager, where you can easily edit and/or upload new content to your online press kit as it becomes available. (Should you prefer to have your BookFlash Editor handle any additional uploading or editing, we will do so for a $75 per hour charge with a one hour minimum.)
