Canyon Lake
Melanie Gaines lives in the Sonoran Desert of Arizona, southwest of Canyon Lake.
She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Education from Arizona State University and a Master of Arts in Education from Northern Arizona University.
She has worked as an elementary school teacher, library/media specialist, and a reading specialist. She is working on three children’s picture books, short stories, and prose.
Canyon Lake is her first novel.
