"The War of the Roses" by Warren Adler Celebrates 25 Years in Print

February 2005 -  JACKSON HOLE -- Stonehouse Press announces "The Puzzle of the Roses" – an interactive crossword puzzle contest to help celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the publication of The War of The Roses – the bestselling book by Wyoming author Warren Adler that became a classic film starring Danny DeVito, Michael Douglas and Kathleen Turner. The contest and the novel, which is available in hardcover, paperback, and all e-book formats, may be viewed on www.warrenadler.com. The website also features links about "the dark side of romance" and the movie version, through February. Three selected contest winners will receive a free ebook version of The War of the Roses in their choice of downloadable formats (Adobe Reader, Microsoft Reader, or Palm Reader.) All entries will be eligible for the grand prize package: autographed copies of The War of the Roses, its 2004 sequel, The Children of the Roses and a DVD of the 20th Century Fox film. Mr. Adler, who resides in Jackson Hole and New York City, is the author of 27 novels and a pioneer in the electronic book industry. He was recently featured in Roundup, the magazine of the Wyoming Library Association (www.will.state.wy.us) and is a founder of the Jackson Hole Writers Conference, now in its 14th Year. Stonehouse Press participates in the Open Ebook Forum, and offers Mr. Adler's works in five different electronic book formats. Answers to the puzzle can be found within the website, and in the books, The War of The Roses and The Children of the Roses.
