March 2005 -  This new book describes the greatest threat to Americans not as the media-focused "Offshore Terrorism" but instead as "Homegrown Terrorism", the undeclared war on crime in America. The "Offshore Terrorism" war has cost the USA approximately $300 billion dollars since 9/11/01. According to U.S. Justice Department projections, the cost of "Homegrown Terrorism", crime in America has cost American taxpayers over $2 trillion dollars since 9/11/01 (cost now standing at $675 billion annually). The nation has lost approximately 7,300 lives with hundreds more injured including the 9/11/01 tragedy and subsequent war against offshore terrorism. According to USJD statistics, since 9/11/01 violent crime in America has totaled over 2 million crimes with approximately 50,000 murders. Many of these murders have been as grizzly and gruesome as those committed by the offshore terrorists including beheading, butchering victims like livestock, burning victims to ashes and rape victims buried in shallow graves or discarded like trash. The author, Sammy Sorrell, Albuquerque, New Mexico non-fiction author and writer is national director and founder of United Citizens For Legal Reform and is editor and publisher of the monthly E-zine titled “Legal Watch.” He combines that experience with his experience as a litigation consultant, law firm investigator and past talk radio show host on "Justice In America.” This new 427-page bombshell book comes after 5-years of research with most statistics coming from branches of the U.S. Justice Department. Sorrell targets the nation's lawyers for creating a "revolving door justice system" for criminals. The criminal justice system is now releasing over 570,000 criminals annually with many of these criminals continuing their violent crimes against Americans. He also targets bad laws by the nation's lawmakers and liberal judges who wink, blink and nod at the immorality directly linked to the 350% crime increase in America during the past 40 years. Sorrell minimizes the value of the federal congressional multi-billion dollar social crime bills during the past 30 years as band-aid solutions and a shameful substitute for teaching criminals choice and consequence through swift and sure punishment in the courts of the nation. He labels the DWI offenders of the nation as the most dangerous and feared homegrown terrorists in our society having killed and injured more Americans than all our wars combined. No book ever published has spotlighted total combined casualties nationwide and the cost of the undeclared war on crime like this book has done. To prove we have a dominant lawyer culture in control, Sorrell says; 55% of the federal Congress are lawyers, 24 of the 44 presidents have been lawyers, 100% of the judicial branch (Supreme Court) are lawyers; “We have lawyers making the laws, defending us in the laws, prosecuting us in the laws, judging us in the laws, interpreting the laws and administering the laws...what a constitutional nightmare!” The author targets the national slide toward immorality as one of the big contributors to the increase in crime in America.
